Anderson, R.S. 2019. Taxonomic revision of the genus Paranametis Burke, 1960 (Coleoptera: Curculionidae: Entiminae: Byrsopagini) in North America. The Coleopterists Bulletin 73(4): 966-974.

Abstract

The genus Paranametis Burke, 1960 is revised for North America (including northern Mexico).

Paranametis distincta Burke, 1960 is known from western Texas, New Mexico, and northern Mexico.

Phyxelis latirostris Blatchley, 1916 is resurrected from synonymy with Phyxelis rigidus (Say, 1832) and treated as a valid species transferred to the genus Paranametis as Paranametis latirostris (Blatchley, 1916), resurrected status, new combination.

Abstract (part)

Eudiagogus rosenschoeldi Fahraeus and Eudiagogus pulcher Fahraeus occur sympatrically and synchronically in Central Texas.

Adults and larvae of E. rosenschoeldi utilize Sesbania vesicaria (Jacq.) Ell. and Sesbania macrocarpa Muhl. as hosts while E. pulcher develops on these as well as Sesbania drummondii (Rydb.) Cory.

A new Agronus from Canada (Coleoptera: Otiorhynchidae)
By Buchanan, L.L.
Proceedings of the Entomological Society of Washington, 31: 102–104., 1929
I can't find this available anywhere. But, a comment on page 110 of the Canadian pub (1) states:
"Comments. Agronus contains three species in North America, one of which occurs in Canada. A key to the three species is given in Buchanan (1929b)."

It would be nice to see this key because the Canadian pub (1) only has the description of the only Agronus in Canada and no key.
