Bagrada hilaris - male - female

Bagrada hilaris - Male Female
Eaton Canyon Wash; decimal coordinates: 34.179664 lat., 118.095936 long., Los Angeles County, California, USA
August 11, 2008
Size: 9 mm combined length
I had virtually forgotten that I had taken a couple of photos of these bugs, then filed them under 'M/F pentatomids.
Anyway, this couple is on Scalebroom (Lepidospartum squamatum). I still think they're very likely B. hilaris, or cruciferarum (though the latter are described as "black with pink spots..."; Schaefer & Panizzi, p.450, (1)). I expect an ID of the specimens from nearby Eaton Canyon soon.
