Hello!
Please contact us by email (see our contributor page here) regarding permission to display on Plates at Moth Photographers Group photographs of moths and larvae that you have posted here at BugGuide. Thanks, J&J.

The closest match I have is A
The closest match I have is Astylis biedermani, a large Notodontidae species or Prominent. I have only seen a couple pictures of this species and they didnt have a nearly as vivid color. The large size of this larvae would also support Astylis biedermani. This picture caught my attention. I don't normaly deal with this family but I found this interesting. Anyone else know of another species this could be?

Astylis biedermani
After I had your ID, I sent this picture to Bruce Walsh and he verified that it is A. biedermani. Thanks for your help.
