The genus is Gyascutus (formerly Hippomelas). From the well defined costae and sculptured pronotum it looks to be Gyascutus planicosta.

Thanks Dennis, I have looked at this specimen with curiousity, very pretty specimen.

 
I have one specimen from Palm
I have one specimen from Palm Springs that has the elytral surface covered with the whitish wax and only the costae visible. Gives it metallic green pin-stripes. Its extremely difficult to collect these without loosing the wax.
