so, no challenge in this case ---still, nice find!

 
I considered that species
but the only two photos previously posted on BugGuide show specimens that look different from mine. Thank you Belov for pursuing a final, expert determination.

The specimen posted by Margarethe bears the closest resemblance, but the antennae are strikingly different. It must be sexual dimorfism.

"I’m not convinced that C. catalina is a good species separable from C. elegans. So I dont know what to call these."
