subalpine spruce and fir forest at high elevations (1)

See Also
Lasionycta subalpina is very similar but is found south and east of the range of perplexella. (1)
Lasionycta perplexa is also very similar and its range overlaps with the range of perplexella, but male perplexa have bipectinate antennae; male perplexella have biserrate antennae. L. perplexella is also typically found at higher elevations than L. perplexa. (1)
