Gray Coreid, genus species request if possible - Chariesterus antennator
Venice/Venice Urban Forest, Sarasota County, Florida, USA
September 18, 2023
Size: 5-8 mm
Sheild bug, resemble those in Coreidae to me. No leaf-like swellings on gray legs. Small body length. Gray body with brown wings. Antennae Gray with brown tips and a black "flag" beneath tip. Looks fuzzy or hairy. Red Eye. Located amidst stems and leaves of Passion Flower. From a distance view the shaded bug appeared bluish.
