It was very different from others, from the thicker and more spread out black bars to the far more blue patches on the hindwing. It looks exactly like a Pale, or is it just a variation of the Canadian Tiger??

First wild papillionid photographed, quite an acheivement for me..

It's a typical female, which are heavier patterned (some more than others), often with more blue. Compare with this one:

The Pales here in Southern California are marked like yours, but colored much whiter. I've given up trying to figure these out.
