This beautiful spider lived in my back yard for a couple of months. We watched her feed and grow. After our area was hit with hurricane Charley, she disappeared. The meal she had here is what we thought to be her mate. She didn't devour him all at once, she snacked on him for a few days. You could see legs move from within the coccoon she had made around him.
