Damsel bugs? - Leptopterna

Damsel bugs? - Leptopterna
St. Catharines, Niagara, Ontario, Canada

Size: 10 mm
There are many many types of sucking insects living in the average field. I have tentatively put these as Damsel bugs, but have no real confidence in that.

Plant bugs
Looks like a Leptoterna species, possibly a male and a female...but I am no expert:)

I agree.
Female is on left, male on right. She is brachypterous, meaning her wings are reduced (only slightly in this case) and non-functional. Fully-winged females also occur. Nice image demonstrating sexual dimorphism:-)
