Tachinid Fly - Copecrypta ruficauda

Tachinid Fly - Copecrypta ruficauda
Sand Springs, Osage County, Oklahoma, USA
October 1, 2008
Size: 6mm (1/4")
I found this Tachinid fly on Western Daisy Fleabane - Erigeron bellidiastrum.
I thought it was behaving strangely because no matter what I did (moving weeds around to get a better shot etc) it didn't move. Usually critters will flinch or move somewhat but this one didn't. It was only after I got it on the computer that I figured out why. A Misumenops Flower Spider has it by the throat. Cool!
I absolutely never saw the spider. It was very well camouflaged. Western Daisy Fleabane has lavender colored flower petals with a bright yellow center (anther, stigma). I'm sure this was the cause of the demise of the fly as well.

Please help with fly ID.
