Tosale oviplagalis (Walker, 1866)
13-17 mm wingspan
Posture and wing pattern apparently distinctive. Sexually dimorphic. Males are brownish, have elongated scales at tip of abdomen. Females have similar pattern in shades of gray. Often perches with abdomen arched upward, wings pushed down.
Eastern North America: New York to Florida, west to Illinois, Texas.
