Dorymyrmex? - Dorymyrmex flavus

Dorymyrmex? - Dorymyrmex flavus
Barrier island east of Corpus Christi, Texas, USA
July 12, 2008
Size: ~4 mm
On a sand dune. To my eye, this looks very similar to one I posted a while ago from Florida:

Don't know if there's any hope of a species ID...

Dorymyrmex sp. - worker (Dolichoderinae)
Peculiar position of the compound eyes help to recognize this genus. ID at the specific level could be possible for an expert. Maybe the coast of Texas harbours only one species.
