awesome find! I was out there the week right before with a Hg Vapor light and also head lamping all the Palo Verdes but didn't get any! What part of the dunes were you at?

 
We were a couple miles N. of
We were a couple miles N. of Glamis on the E. edge of the dunes. It is my understanding that is BLM land and acceptable to collect in.

I also heard second-hand (on Insectnet.com) that someone found four specimens somewhere in the dunes this season-- I don't know where.
