Pepsis mexicana

Pepsis mexicana
French Joe Canyon, Cochise County, Arizona, USA
October 3, 2008

Moved
Moved from Vespoidea.

Female?
Looks more like a female to me, but hard to tell from one image alone. Wingtips are frayed, which is a big clue in species ID. In P. mexicana, the wingtips are opaque white.

P. mexicana
Interesting. Thanks Eric
