Wolf Spider? - Tigrosa grandis

Wolf Spider? - Tigrosa grandis
New Boston, Bowie County, Texas, USA
October 4, 2008
Size: 1 inch
after bombing the house for fleas, this big spider crawled out from under something and was found barely alive in the kitchen floor. Can anyone help us identify it? Maybe a Wolf Spider? I have numerious photos of it at different angles.

This one
Appears MUCH more like the individuals I have found which show extremely potent characteristics for T. grandis. The first female I found looks exactly like this one. If only we could get a ventral/more clear dorsal.

I think
These dark wolves with the orange anterior racing stripe are all Hogna. But whether they are helluo or aspersa is sometimes tough apparently.

Yes
Definitely a wolf spider, but I'm not sure of the species.
