From this angle the median ma
From this angle the median maculation does appear more sharply directed backwards, making C. denverensis a more likely candidate. Color is the lesser issue. Many green species show faint red-bronze highlights within the population, but this is also true for C. limbalis which can be fairly green. The best separating character would seem to be the shape of the median maculation, and that appears to fit with C. denverensis.

The reason I've been so persistent is that this would be the fourth species I've been able to photograph out of five encounters with tiger beetles this year. Amazing how many there are. Thanks again.
