Explanation of Names
Specific epithet
arizonensis is Latin meaning "belonging to Arizona."

Comment by Bob Biagi: "Note, the PM line which is sometimes very prominent in this species, is also slightly jagged or irregular."
Range
Eastern Montana to Colorado and south to western Texas to California.

Adults fly from late June to August.

Larval host are junipers, cypress, and pines.
