Size: BL approx. 30 mm.
I guess this is a female based on large size. I know very little about spiders, but I thought this was a beautiful specimen.

It would have been hard to get a bad shot of this gorgeous spider on lantana. I'm not much of a photographer and just have a basic point and shoot camera, but I have to say, I was quite pleased with how this pic came out. One of these days, I'll get a DSLR and get more serious about photography, but for now I'll just have to rely on statistics that I'll get lucky on occasion. ;)
