September 8, 2022: collected leaves of Pointed-leaved tick-trefoil, Desmodium glutinosum, that easily showed sign of herbivory.
April 28, 2023: first moth
Day(s) later: 2 more emerged

It was a good year for this moth...in the Upper Mississippi River area.
Batch rearing. 2 jars, 3 moths, a pupa (died)

I checked a bunch of Desmodium this year, but didn't find any.
But maybe I was too early. Will try again next year.

Not every year
is a good year for them. 2022 was a good year.
