Identification
Features shared by members of this group include (1) large and bulging lunule with the insertion of the antenna below the midpoint of the head, and (2) subepandrial sclerite divided into two well-sclerotized plates.
Remarks
This subfamily was erected by Xuan et al. (2023) for all of the genera formerly placed in Agromyzinae except for Agromyza and Japanagromyza.
