No, don't frass! This is a new one for the guide, and relatively easy for an ant-ist to recognize. M. floricola, recongnized by its slender shininess, yellowish mesosoma, pointy gaster apex, and runnning in Pharaoh ant like trails, is another introduced congener of the latter. M. floricola is presumed to originate from India, but is now found near people in tropical and subtropical areas around the world.
