These are easily found in the fall on any large "grasses" like lily plants and other tall grasses that have stems of half an inch or wider at Clark's Creek park next to the pond.

Rod Crawford says,
"Metellina sp., probably segmentata, but M.curtisi (less common in the fall but still a possible find) looks essentially identical except for the epigynum."
