Identification

our 3 spp. are similar in gestalt and color (dorsum rufotestaceous to rufous). Sizes overlap considerably, but C. punctifera is smaller than C. apache (no overlap), and on average smaller than C. yaqui. Both C. apache & C. punctifera differ from C. yaqui in form of the elytral sutural angle (round in C. apache & punctifera, angulate in C. yaqui). Males genitals differ markedly.(1)
