Collected in a canopy trap in a forested river lowland

Melanophthalma or Cortinicara species
The transverse impression at the base of the pronotum, rather than an oval or circular basal impression, separates this specimen to either of these 2 genera.

Guy, if you still have this specimen in your collection (I know it was a while ago), an underside photo and one that includes a clear view of the hind tarsi, may clear this up :-)
