A friend of mine took this photo today in their backyard, down near Camptonville, CA, in Yuba County.

I think that this is a female, but let's wait for an expert.

Calosaturnia mendocino?
According to MONA Fascicle 20-2B, mendocino is the only Calosaturnia species that is likely to be found at this location and at this time of year. C. walterorum is found much further south in California and C. albofasciata flies late in the year.
