Mournful Duskywing? - Erynnis tristis - female

Mournful Duskywing? - Erynnis tristis - Female
Edinburg Scenic Wetlands, Hidalgo County, Texas, USA
October 4, 2008

Moved
Moved from Duskywings.

I think it's Mournful, but see an odd possibility.
butterfliesandmoths.org lists Mournful and Funeral for that county. This looks like Mournful to me, and if you found it around oak - its food plant - that would be a clincher.

However, there's a striking resemblance between this and what's called Arizona Juvenal's Duskywing in Butterflies through Binoculars The West. Range is very limited, encompassing a tiny part of Arizona/New Mexico and south into Mexico.
