Remarks
Members of the genus Antrodiaetus are subterranean tube dwellers, closing the silken tube entrance by drawing in the rim (1).


The California Turret spider, Atypoides riversi builds a silken turret which remains open.



Members of the genus Aliatypus are trapdoor spiders.
