Oleander Moth Caterpillars - Syntomeida epilais

Oleander Moth Caterpillars - Syntomeida epilais
Naples, Collier County, Florida, USA
October 19, 2008
Not sure if this is of interest here. Oleander Moth that had been feeding on Oleander. This cat found a high spot on my house and shed it's hairs and formed a cocoon. I was unaware moths form cocoon not chrysalis. More surprising is another Oleander cat found the first the next day and just built a larger structure. The images will be linked together.
