Attracted to porch light. I can't find anything similar to this one. If not possible to ID...frass it.

Hippopsis lemniscata
In Yanega's book, plate 23. A stem borer of ragweed and other herbaceous plants, mostly with composite blooms. Extends from Northeast to South America.

By golly you're right!
I checked my four favorite used book sites and found nothing. It's a book well worth having. It's almost comprehensive for my area and will probably ID most species where you are. Best of all (for me) no technical anatomic keys to follow!

Bioquip is selling Yanega's book for $22.95 (hardcover only). You can buy it at bioquip.com.
But note that there's a $25.00 order minimum so that you'll need to buy something else as well to make the minimum.

Cheaper at INHS
According to the above link provided by Chad C Davis, INHS is selling it for just $15. BioQuip is convenient one-stop shopping, but if you can find the same items elsewhere, they are considerably less costly.
