Seeking source to learn about insect toxicity

Hi everyone,

I'm interested in learning about how insects and other arthropods become toxic. I know that some of them sequester noxious chemistry from the plants they eat, and in those cases close observation of food sources (and a better understanding of Botany than I currently possess) would be in order. But it seems that some poisonous arthropods consume plants that have no poisons, and so they obviously are producing it in their own organs.

I think I've got these basics correctly understood, but I have a lot to learn. Can anyone suggest a particular book or other source that explains this facet of entomology?

Thanks a lot,

Dave

...
a great book to get into is For Love of Insects(1) by Thomas Eisner. It is well written with great photos.

Thanks
Thanks Sean. I've seen the book around, looks like I should at least borrow a copy from the library.
