Acleris inana of authors; (not Robinson, 1869)

Explanation of Names

Acleris inana of authors; (not Robinson, 1869) is an undescribed, late summer/fall species which McDunnough (1934) erroneously attributed to "true" inana (M. Sabourin, in litt., 2024). As explained by Clarke (1987:175), McDunnough did not refer to the lectotype of inana designated by Klots (1942:414), and the genitalia be illustrated was not of any described species known to him.

Season

Flight: Aug.-Oct. (M. Sabourin, in litt., 2024)
