Size: Maybe 2 inches?
This doesn't look like an adult Giant Leaf-footed Bug, but I think it might be an earlier instar?

Looks more like A. terminalis (or maybe A. femorata) to me--but nymphs are tough. :)

Incidentally, don't include antennae or other appendages in the size measurement. That should include head and body only.
