These were in my kitchen checking out some peaches.
I'm wondering if this a mating ritual, the one on the right looks like like it might be bringing the other something.

It is hard to tell from the photo, but it looks like it may be the cosmopolitan D. immigrans.

Actually the common name is V
Actually the common name is Vinegar Fly (as I recently learned) and they're likely in the genus of Drosophila.
