Brown Widow vs. Honey Bee - Latrodectus geometricus

Brown Widow vs. Honey Bee - Latrodectus geometricus
Arcadia, Los Angeles County, California, USA
October 30, 2008
Hi,

These photos are the result of what happens when a bee (Apis mellifera) is introduced to a brown widow (Latrodectus geometricus). (Let's just say they didn't become friends.) I have more photos and a video up on my new website, bugshutterbug.com.
