Megetra cancellata
This is the only place I was able to find this interesting "bug". I live and work in Alamogordo, NM. I have lived her my entire life, moved to AZ for 5 years and came back. Not until this last summer did I see this bug and more than one. I showed everyone at work to see if anyone knew what it was, no one did. I have been trying to figure out what it was. This is wonderful! I noticed that I only saw them after a rain, is this normal? Or just an incorrect observation?

Megetra
and i
think
it is
Megetra cancellata
to be more exact but lets wait for an expert before moving it to species level.
