I don't think you can tell
it could just as well be L. succinctus. They are all over AZ, I've posted them before, and it was never really Ided to species. see

 
You were smart to stay at genus, Margartethe.
As you know, there's also a Largus cinctus. It's probably best to leave this at genus. (I still see this as Largus californicus because of the more mottled back and color of the lighter parts, but am no expert. )
