Moved
Moved from ID Request.

Location data fixed for placement.

As mentioned,
location data needs fixing. Brooklyn is located in Kings County, and the upload form specifically says not to include the state in the city name.

That is a spotted lanternfly nymph. It is an ecologically destructive invasive pest, and should be killed wherever found.

Spotted Lanternfly
The binomial is Lycorma delicatula. I don't know if New York still wants sightings reported for tracking. There was a way to notify the State by email. And yes please kill them. A quick solid crush is a relatively humane way to kill them.

location data needs major correction
reads "Brooklyn ,NY, NEW YORK County, Georgia, USA"
