Tripudia rectangula
Parkwood, Durham County, North Carolina, USA
August 31, 2008
Size: 15 mm wingspan

Tripudia rectangula - Hodges #9003.1
The recent revision by Pogue (2009) has T. quadrifera confined to Texas and T. rectangula occupying most the remainder of the North American range.(1)

9003 - Tripudia quadrifera
The Acontiinae-Pantheinae hold a lot of surprises, moths that suggest belonging to different families.

Thanks
Thanks, Bob--your help is much appreciated. I should have checked this family--I've seen a sneaky little Tripudia before.
