Bug in bathroom

Bug in bathroom
Portland, Washington County, Oregon, USA
August 13, 2024
Right hind leg is longer than the other, but it was walking fine. May have been an injury. Body shape makes me think of silverfish, but legs look too large for that, almost like a cricket's. It moved along the ground and did not jump when caught.

This is a Velarifictorus micado, from the Orthoptera order and the Gryllidae family. This is actually a Japanese burrowing cricket, found in Southern Asia and Eastern US. It was first discovered in the US in 1959, most likely imported through the soil in plants being shipped from Southern Asia. Though I am not sure about the difference between the length of its legs.
