Aphid-sized insect

Size: 2-3mm

Found on winterberry fruit - the berry in the image gives you the scale of this small insect. The dorsal pattern on the abdomen and the greenish color doesn't show well in the image.

If you have the chance and are interested, check out the documentary series called, "Life in the Undergrowth", they have a neat section about these little insects. I believe they are on the episode called 'Invasion of the Land".
