Crab Spider - Mecaphesa

Crab Spider - Mecaphesa
south Austin, Travis County, Texas, USA
April 29, 2007
On milkweed

Moved from Mecaphesa.

celer-importuna-lepida complex
I would have called this Mecaphesa celer if the anterior-most abdomenal spots were more distinct and the pigment were more brown. The other anterior dorsum spots are consistent with celer. I say we put this in the new "celer-importuna-lepida complex" group.

that is a pretty cool looking
