pale face here...
I've cropped these, and rotated a couple; if you object, I saved the original versions on my hard drive and can put them back. But cropped & right side up, I can see the beetle's frons clearly in this photo, and it's quite brightly colored. I don't know if Curinus coeruleus has male/female differences in the pale markings on its head and pronotum or not, but will look into it.
