micro moth - Aristotelia rubidella

micro moth - Aristotelia rubidella
Groton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, USA
August 18, 2008

Moved
Moved from Aristotelia roseosuffusella.
Terry, thanks for correcting this one.

rubidella
I need to change the ID from A. roseosuffusella to A. rubidella. The pattern is similar in those two, but all of the confirmed roseosuffusella that I have seen have had more of a contrast between the light and dark diagonal bars on the forewing than is seen here, whereas rubidella has much less contrast, as seen in this moth.

Thanks Terry
Moved from Moths.

Micro moth
This is Gelechiidae: Aristotelia sp., most likely roseosuffusella.
