small silver gray, notice only in soil, not on plants

I have noticed since bringing my houseplants in from their summer vactions outdoors, a very small silvery gray insect, beetle looking (only sorta?), moving quickly through the soil as I turn it or air-agate the pots. Common? It is what type bug? Clues?
Thanks so much for any help!

Elongate-bodied Springtails?
Take a look at some here.
