Blue-faced Meadowhawk - Sympetrum ambiguum - Female
Daphne (Bayfront Park), Baldwin County, Alabama, USA
November 21, 2008
With temperature in the low 50's, I wasn't really expecting to find anything. I actually found two insects, this Blue-faced Meadowhawk foraging for lunch and her lunch. Not being able to read guidebooks, she does not know she can't take flight at these temperatures.
