Coquillettidia perturbans - male

Coquillettidia perturbans - Male
south Austin, Travis County, Texas, USA
August 4, 2008
At lights in a small mesic patch under an oak-willow canopy...

It is not perturbans. I am not sure what it is. Cq. perturbans would have the large broad scales on the wings, as well as a light ring apically on the hind tibae.

Coquillettidia perturbans

ID *not* certain.
I welcome any suggestions. Thanks, MQ
