Pedilidae? - Stereopalpus vestitus

Pedilidae? - Stereopalpus vestitus
Denbigh experimental forest, McHenry County, North Dakota, USA
June 30, 2005
Size: 8 mm
Am I on the right track within the Pedilidae?

Moved
Moved from Stereopalpus.

Stereopalpus vestitus
it is.

Excellent!
Specimen now has a full name tag!

No, Anthicidae
Looks like the genus Stereopalpus.

I agree
but was confusing as the Peterson field guide has Stereopalpus in the Pedilidae, but the American Beetles volume it is in the Anthicidae. Must have been a revision there somewehere I had not seen..

Pedilidae is no more.
Everything has been moved to the Pyrochroidae or the Anthicidae.

Thanks
for the insight..
