I swept this male cribellate spider from some brush at the edge of the trail. Appears to be six-eyed.

Wild guess.
Wild guess, but what about the possibility of Hyptiotes? Eye arrangement and "stubby" legs reminds me of a triangle spider anyway.

I've also posted this on the Nearctic Arachnologist's Forum, and Kevin P. has come to the same conclusion! As I mentioned there, I "happened" to collect an adult female Hyptiotes gertschi nearby, a few weeks later! :) The female, BTW, is already posted on BG.
