Ground Beetle 9 - Carabus granulatus

Ground Beetle 9 - Carabus granulatus
Bow River, Calgary, Alberta, Canada
June 20, 2008
Size: 17 mm
Carabus granulatus or C. meanderi? From what I've read, C. meanderi is more common than C. granulatus in Alberta and can be very difficult to tell apart. Collected from under woody debris not far from the riverbank
